My name is Neil and i am a professional photographer and the owner of A1 Photogenics

We cater for Wedding, Christenings, Portraits, Newborn, Maternity, Proms and pretty much all types of photography

I am a documentary wedding photographer based in Swindon Wiltshire and lucky enough but to travel throughout Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Gloucestershire, Avon and pretty much nationwide.

Wedding photography for me it's a full job. I enjoy my job 110%. Being part of a couples big day is so rewarding.

Throughout the day i love to capture the emotion, the smiles and the tears, the fun and colour the trials and tribulations of the preceding months all coming together to create one special day that will form the rest of your life together. About Us

My name is Neil. Born in Swindon Wiltshire and lived there all my life. I first started taken photos at the age of 7 when i picked up my first camera, taking pictures of friends and family and anything that moved in the garden. Progressing on to holidays and at the Airshows with my Dad. As time went on it turned from a hobby to an interest with my Uncle who was a photographer for the Great Western Railway in Swindon. I started doing Portraits of family and was a second shooter for a friend at a wedding. Its here i got the bug.

Hooked from then on and never looked back and now in my 27th year with many awards behind me. The biggest satisfaction i get from weddings is seeing the happy smiles on my customers faces as they look through their photos. That's why i do this job.

My approach to photographing your wedding is relaxed and unobtrusive i take posed and natural photos in a documentary style, presenting your albums on a personalised USB or in stunning leather albums.

Your day is important to me and capturing the moments throughout the day is what i do. From removing confetti from your hair to placing and arranging your wedding dress to how i think it should look in the photos. I like to talk and will always help keep your nerves at bay.

FAQ'S

Here is a list of frequently asked questions couples ask me either at a consultation or at later meetings.

What packages do you offer?

I offer 7 different packages depending on your budget and requirement, from just ceremony to a full day and either just images on a USB or a full wedding album package

How long do you attend a wedding for?

This depends on the package so anywhere from just 3 hours on our Basic + package to our Our Platinum package which is 2 to 3 hours before the ceremony to 1 hour after first dance.

What experience do you have as a photographer?

I have over 40 years as a photographer and over 25 years in weddings.

Will you be our photographer on the day?

Yes i work alone However i have other photographers i call upon if two photographers are needed.

How long do you allow for Photo's?

Generally 1.5 to 2 hours However i never rush the photos and it depends on the amount of guests at your wedding.

How many images do you take?

There is no limit to the amount of images i take and again it depends on how long i am with you and how many guests you have.

How long will it be before i receive my images?

From your wedding day we aim for 6 to 8 weeks for your preview album and USB but this is also affected by the time of year and how busy i am, from then its down to you picking your photos for your main album

What Photos do you do on the day?

I will do a mixture of posed and natural. Making sure i get all the important images of you both, with families and group shots plus any specific ones you request.

What cameras do you use?

I use Nikon cameras I carry 3 with me just in case of any mishaps so always fully backed up

What do you wear at the wedding?

I always attend a wedding in a shirt and suit not a tie. Appearance is important to me and i will blend in with your guests as much as i can.

Can we see a full wedding you've done?

Yes you can and i would recommend you do. I would never book or buy anything without checking it out fully. And we would do this at the consultation.

Do i sign a wedding contract?

I will ask you to sign one at the time of booking. It lays out timing schedules, my Terms and Conditions, timetable for photos and album deliveries etc

Can we have a pre wedding shoot with you?

Yes of course and they come with a signing board for your day.Most of my packages come with a pre shoot included but if not you can add it for £150.

Do you have a back up photographer if you are sick on our day?

Yes i have a photographer who works part time for me plus a list of 3 others i can call on.

Do you allow guests to take photos on the day?

I have no problems at all with guests taking photos however i would kindly request they don't get in my way as i have a job to do.

What are your payment terms?

£100 deposit secures your day along with a wedding contract with the outstanding balance paid via installments or as a lump sump. But must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the day.

Do you require a meal at the wedding?

If i am at an all day wedding then yes please.
